Il prodotto multimediale " Museo Virtuale della Calabria" ed è stato realizzato dalla società Tesi spa su finanziamento della Regione Calabria. Il progetto è di competenza dell’Assessorato Regionale ai Beni Culturali. Il Museo Virtuale della Calabria si propone di far conoscere ad un ampio pubblico i beni culturali calabresi, includendo sia i beni contenuti nei vari musei della Calabria ma anche i siti archeologici, i beni ecclesiastici contenuti nelle chiese, i monumenti eccetera che costituiscono un ricco patrimonio da valorizzare sia sul fronte turistico che su quello culturale. L’opera vuole allora racchiudere il meglio dei beni culturali di questa Regione, esponendoli in un museo virtuale da proporre al turista, allo studente, all’appassionato. Attualmente il Museo Virtuale della Calabria consente la visita virtuale e interattiva di quelli che sono i due principali Musei Nazionali della Calabria: Il Museo Nazionale di Reggio Calabria ed il Museo Archeologico della Sibaritide.

UCR/California Museum of Photography maintains the world's largest collection of original stereoscopic prints and negatives. The Keystone-Mast Collection represents the archive of the Keystone View Company of Meadville, PA (active from 1892-1963). Of it's 350,000 items, 33,637 records can be searched online. This site is still under construction and being improved.

The state-of-the-art gallery space for the new Guggenheim Hermitage Museum is within the elaborate structure of Las Vegas's Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino. This enclosed exhibition space houses masterworks from the Guggenheim and Hermitage museums in a unique setting. The museum's exterior and interior walls have been constructed with panels of Cor-Ten steel, which has never before been used as the structure of a museum gallery. The lightly textured industrial metal is intended to evoke the traditional velvet walls of the Hermitage Museum while providing a stark modern contrast to the ornate architecture of The Venetian.

The Government acquired the Hôtel Biron in 1905 and Rodin rented the ground floor from 1908 onwards. From that moment, the sculptor, backed by his closest friends, was determined to turn the Hôtel Biron into a museum devoted to his works. It was only in 1916, through three successive donations, that Rodin handed over to the Government all his collections and personal archives, his property in Meudon and, even more important, his works, both sculptures and drawings, accompanied by reproduction rights. The museum opened its doors to the public on 4 August 1919. At present, it houses marble, bronze, plaster, wax and terracotta sculptures, ceramics, paintings, drawings, and works by other artists (Monet, Renoir, Van Gogh) from his personal collection.

The Web Gallery of Art is a virtual museum and searchable database of European painting and sculpture from 12th to mid-19th centuries. It was started in 1996 as a topical site of the Renaissance art, originated in the Italian city-states of the 14th century and spread to other countries in the 15th and 16th centuries. Intending to present Renaissance art as comprehensively as possible, the scope of the collection was later extended to show its Medieval roots as well as its evolution to Baroque and Rococo via Mannerism. More recently the periods of Neoclassicism and Romanticism were also included.

A fairy castle or a fortress? At first sight the Swiss National Museum next to the main station of Zurich appears to be a fairy castle or a fortress. The tower, copied from the town gate of Baden, has become a symbol of the city and can be seen from far away. The museum building of 1898 in the historicist style accommodates probably the largest collection in Switzerland devoted to cultural history. In the rambling rooms and corridors of the building visitors can experience fascinating and unexpected views of Swiss cultural history.

DIEGO RIVERA (1886-l957), muralist painter, was one of the greatest artists in the XXth century. Born in Guanajuato Mexico, in 1892 he moved to Mexico City with his family. He studied in the San Carlos Academy and in the carving workshop of artist José Guadalupe Posada, whose influence was decisive.

The Tampa Museum of Art's primary purpose is to collect, preserve, display and interpret works of art reflecting art forms of regional, national and international importance for the general public on a regularly scheduled basis. The Museum's permanent collection of over 4500 objects is at the heart of this mission. The Museum has established important collections in two main areas: Greek and Roman antiquities and modern and contemporary paintings, sculpture, works on paper, photography and decorative arts.

The National Museum holds a number of significant collections relating to each of its three primary subject areas: land, nation and people. Significant elements include a collection of 80,000 stone tools and Australia's largest collection of bark paintings, comprising 1600 works by numerous artists, spanning two centuries and the width and breadth of Australia.
